Arsenal chairman Hill-Wood rules out Oxlade-Chamberlain price war with Man Utd

Arsenal refuse to enter an auction with Manchester United for Southampton whiz Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Daily Star says the Gunners have offered £5m plus up to £3m in add-ons for the Southampton starlet.

But chairman Peter Hill-Wood said: "If Manchester United want to outbid us with some silly figure, that is their privilege. I think the boy would like to come to us."

United are willing to pay £10 million for the 17 year-old.
