Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood says there was no approach from Barcelona this week for skipper Cesc Fabregas.
Barca courted Fabregas in the summer, but Hill-Wood confirmed their officials had made no inquiries about the midfielder during his time in the Catalan capital.
"He was not fit unfortunately the other night," he told the Daily Star. "We hoped he was, but he wasn't and in fairness he didn't impress anybody much. They have got a hell of a good side.
"They didn't say anything to me about it (signing him). If they had I probably wouldn't have taken too much notice."
