Arsenal had scouts in the stands for Standard Liege's clash with Red Bull Salzburg last week.

French sources say the Gunners were checking on Standard defender Eliaquim Mangala, 19, in Europa League action.

Along with Arsenal representatives, Celtic and Lyon scouts were also present to run the rule over Mangala. Standard now rate the youngster in the £8 million class.
