Arsenal celebrity fan Nick Hornby has welcomed the signing of FC Cologne striker Lukas Podolski.

Hornby, famous for writing 'Fever Pitch' and 'About a Boy', was doing an interview with the German press.

"We had Jens Lehmann [...] and now comes the next German. Podolski will have an easy time at Arsenal, and he will have tremendous success. He can be as big a star at Arsenal as he was at Cologne."
