Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas admits his bit-part role with World Cup finalists Spain has been frustrating.
Cesc would love to start tomorrow's final against Holland.
The Arsenal midfielder said: "I'm desperate to play at least some part. What player wouldn't be?
"I believe I can play a part in making history for our country, which has never won a World Cup. If I'm lucky enough to start I will give everything I have to make our nation's dream come true.
"But if I have to start on the bench, then so be it. All I can pray for is a chance to play some part."
