Arsenal signing Danny Welbeck believes the clubs core of English players can help benefit the national team.
The Gunners new boy played alongside fellow club teammates Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in Wednesday night's 1-0 friendly win over Norway while Theo Walcott is still set to return from a knee injury.
Welbeck, who joined the Gunners from Manchester United for £16million on deadline day, feels that the English connection at the Emirates Stadium could be a massive positive for the Three Lions in the future.
"It is going to be a massive positive for us," Welbeck told Arsenal's official website.
"We will be seeing each other every single day and you obviously develop a much better understanding if you are working with one another on a consistent basis, that is something that will definitely benefit the England team."
