Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger looks to have finally secured the services of Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh.

Arsenal were close to signing the centre-forward last summer in a £5million deal but it fell through because Bordeaux wanted to keep the player for their Champions League campaign which ended against fellow French side Lyon last week.

And now Chamakh will be on his way this summer with his contract having expired.
