Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Olivier Giroud is no guaranteed starter at Champions League opponents Montpellier tonight.
Wenger warned Giroud there would be no room for sentiment tonight when it came to picking his team to face Montpellier, who sold the striker to Arsenal in the summer.
"I am conscious that he would like to play, but what is important is that Arsenal does well and players have to understand that," he said.
