Croatia's assistant manager Aljosa Asanovic says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is treading carefully with the return to full fitness of striker Eduardo da Silva.

"We had a good chat and his recovery is going well and he is extremely happy," said Asanovic.

"Wenger has said that they will not allow Eduardo to be rushed back.

"He has said that Eduardo will only play when all the tests and training sessions indicate that he is ready and can play without any fear."
