Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has told fans big name signings could be a regular occurrence now.

Wenger broke the mould on deadline day with a £42.7 million deal for Mesut Ozil.

When then asked if Arsenal fans could expect to see one or two big-name signings following each season now, Wenger said: "If they are needed, then yes. If it's just for marketing reasons, then no.

"But for football reasons, why not?"
