Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says West Ham United could have been a contender!

Wenger feels sympathy for West Ham who, over the years have had to sell talent like Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole and Michael Carrick.

"If they had been able to keep them together, they would have been pushing for the championship," he said.
