Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is delighted to have Thomas Vermaelen available.
Vermaelen made a brief return to action from the bench in Saturday's win over Sunderland and the boss is delighted to have the Belgian defender back in the squad.
"It is fantastic to have him back, as a character and a player. Everyone is happy that he is back," said Wenger.
"He has gone through a difficult period but he is a great player, and will show that now that he is completely fit and available."
