Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Danny Welbeck could start in their FA Cup clash with Hull City.
A knee problem picked up in a goalless draw against Chelsea in April kept him out of action until last week, when he came off the bench against top-of-the-table Leicester to score an injury-time winner.
“I might start Welbeck, I've not decided completely but it has crossed my mind," Wenger said.
“I believe it is always a good observation for a character when he is injured for a long time.
"How does he resist to that stress and how much he can respond and how focused can he be every day?
“In Danny's case, he had a few setbacks. We prepared him for the FA Cup final last May and he had a huge setback. Now he's become a stronger man.
“Danny can get a lot better. He is 25-years-old, physically he's back to his best and I believe the best is to come."
