Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has concerns over Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain playing in the London Olympics

The Daily Mail says similar discussions with Aaron Ramsey and Kieran Gibbs are also planned as Wenger attempts to point out the detrimental effects that playing in the Olympics could have on them next season.

The 18-year-old would answer the call if selected by Team GB this summer.

But next season is likely to be key to Chamberlain's development as he looks to become a first-team regular at Arsenal, hence Wenger's concern.
