Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is anxious for 17 year-old whizkid Jack Wilshere to be playing regular football.

Wenger told Arsenal TV Online: "Jack Wilshere has not been on the bench recently but that is because at his age you do not want him to be a professional bench warmer.

"When you have three games in a week, the players involved in the squad don't have proper training as such because of the games, they don't need more intense football and that is not good for a 17 year-old like Jack, so he is benefiting more from having proper training sessions."
