Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says something must be done about the Wembley pitch.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp labelled the surface "a disgrace" after seeing his side lose 2-0 in the FA Cup semifinal and, although Wenger would not go that far, he admits that the current state of affairs is unacceptable.
"You can call it like you want but it is a football country, it is the best league in the world and so what we want to show to the rest of the world is that we have the best pitches in the world," he told arsenal.com.
"I don't know if it [a bad pitch] would harm England's campaign [to host the World Cup], I just feel that England have the most renowned football stadium in the world and to have a bad pitch is not acceptable.
"I'm confident that the federation will sort it out but it cannot remain like this, that everybody complains about the pitch after the game. It's not good enough."
