Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is happy to see Theo Walcott named in England's squad for the friendly against Holland.

Walcott played his first game against Valencia on the weekend following the European Under-21 Championships.

Walcott has been named in England's squad for Wednesday's friendly in Holland and Wenger hopes he will get some much-needed match action before next Saturday's opening league game with Everton.

Wenger said: "He needs competition and, if he plays, it is good for us."
