Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants 18-year old striker Gilles Sunu to sign a new deal at the club before loaning him out to a Championship club.

The young gun is wanted on loan by Blackpool but Wenger is determined to get him to put pen to a new deal before making the move as his contract expires in the summer.

Wenger is keen to keep the France youth player and does not want to risk losing him on a long-term basis if he decides he wants to make a move whilst out on loan.
