Arsenal boss Wenger: Walcott always getting kicked

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Theo Walcott's development was slowed over the kicking he took when younger.
Walcott was impressive in yesterday's win over Burnley.
"You put yourself in the mind of a player at 17 years of age who runs 100 metres in 11 seconds: what do people do? He got some tackles against Ridgewell this year where there was no intention to play the ball," Wenger said.
"You know every time you will get the ball people will just try to stop you at any cost.
"It's difficult to take when you're 18 if you know always the intention of the guy who comes against you is to stop you, to get your pace. Now he starts to deal well with that."

rvk is a piece of Sh!t...only sh!theads will hope for something bad to happen to another human being...no different from a cruel murderer or beast...
Good hopefully soon walcott will have his legs crushed to pieces. Useless waste of space for england anyway! Its only arsenal players that get kicked of course!
Ronaldo isnt a fast as Theo, Faster with the ball at his feet yes, better change of pace yes, but they are 2 completely different types of players. 1 has creativity the other is 9/10 times direct.
Everyone seems to want the kid to Peak at 20 yrs old, what happens when you peak this early? just ask crocked Owen!! 24-26 is when attacking players generally should elevate their game, that's is when body strength, mental steadiness, physical balance are all at their peak.
Walcott still has plenty of muscle mass to gain, and if he peaks this early, because of his speed, will be sure to have plenty of muscular injury concerns. Owen is a perfect example of that. Owen was pushed waaay too hard way too young which is why England never had his services when they needed him the most.
