Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is convinced the return to full fitness of Robin van Persie will give them a timely boost as they chase a Premiership and Champions League Double.

"He can make a difference. He's played eight games only in the championship so to have him back for the last 10 games would be patience rewarded for us," the manager said.

"When you lose a player like that you are in trouble but we have compensated well. He's desperate to come back."
