Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Robin Van Persie is ready to become the club's prime goal scorer. "Taking chances has been a problem sometimes, but not always," said Wenger. "When you look at the goal at Fulham, it is a fantastic goal. The ball in was brilliant, the first touch is brilliant and the second touch is in the back of the net.
"When you win the ball back, the first pass from Alex Song to Cesc Fabregas is very good, so it was perfect. You have to accept that the most important thing is to create chances.
"After that, there are some days where you do not always take them all. Robin is not only a great goalscorer but he also has such a short technique that he can bring other players in."
