Arsenal boss Wenger understands Man City complaints over scheduling

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sympathises with Roberto Mancini over Manchester City's schedule.

Mancini saw his tired side lose the home leg of their Carling Cup semi-final last Wednesday to Liverpool.

The Reds had enjoyed two extra days rest as they played their FA Cup tie on Friday, while City played Man United on Sunday.

Wenger said: “I have sympathy for Mancini. To play Sunday and Wednesday was not right.”
