Arsenal boss Wenger tightlipped on bid for Liverpool striker Suarez

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was coy over his interest in Liverpool striker Luis Suarez during his media conference in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Wenger was immediately put on the spot over his £30million pursuit of Uruguayan international Suarez.

Hundreds of local reporters and journalists turned up at the airport to welcome Arsenal to sweltering Indonesia for the first time in 31 years.

And most of them wanted to know more information about Wenger's big-money transfer targets.

But the Frenchman said: "Suarez? As you all know, the transfer period demands secrets and confidentiality, so I am not going to answer that question."
