Arsenal boss Wenger targets German stars Gotze, Podolski with big money

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hasn't ruled out buying big in January.

The Mirror says Borussia Dortmund's Mario Gotze and Lukasz Podolski of Cologne are both on Arsenal's radar as they look to strengthen in the next window.

And a move to bring back former Emirates hero Thierry Henry on loan from New York Red Bulls has not been ruled out.

Gotze and Podolski would certainly fit the bill and Arsenal have big money to spend.

A major arrival in January would allow them to sanction the exit of Andrey Arshavin and perhaps misfit striker Marouane Chamakh, who is a target for Paris Saint-Germain, his former club Bordeaux and Queens Park Rangers.

Vertonghen, Gotze, Podolski and Henry on loan would all be fantastic signings. Wenger could then let Arshavin, Chamakh and Squillachi go.

Arseshaving and Chamakh have to go, they are taking up space in the squad and not even being played, they ara waste of space.
