Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger feels Jack Wilshere was kicked in their draw with Sunderland.
Wenger was angry about the lack of protection from ref Anthony Taylor for starlet Wilshere.
"What was frustrating is when he was targeted, on quite a few occasions the decision was not to give him a free-kick and that was difficult to understand," said Wenger.
"He got kicked a lot."
Wenger also admitted that all talented players have to expect some rough stuff from opponents and Wilshere was not complaining.
"I got a few kicks," said Wilshere.
"That is part and parcel of football - but I will be all right for Tuesday."
