Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reviving his interest in Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.
The Daily Star Sunday says Wenger is ready to make a cut-price move for M'Vila - because his fee has dropped by a staggering £18million.
Arsenal boss Wenger has long been an admirer of the midfielder but refused to cough up the £25m that Rennes wanted for his services.
Now, though, out-of-favour M'Vila is available for just £7m and could join the Gunners this month. M'Vila's form and fitness have suffered this season after a move to north London fell through in the summer.
His contract expires at the end of the season and it explains why the French outfit would be willing to cash in now rather than allow him to quit on a free transfer.
