Arsenal boss Wenger: Song outstanding at the back

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has no doubts over Alex Song at centre-half.

With William Gallas injured and Thomas Vermaelen facing suspension after his red card in yesterday's win over West Ham United, midfielder Song will be asked to play at centre-back by Wenger.

The Frenchman said: "I think he was absolutely outstanding. It looked so easy to him to play in this position. I know he can play there, but he was outstanding in midfield earlier in the game. I have no fear to continue with him at centre-back."
