Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was shocked by Tottenham's sacking of Harry Redknapp.

Redknapp has since been replaced by Andre Villas-Boas at Spurs.

Wenger told the Daily Mail: "It was a complete surprise. I do not want to interfere. It came as a surprise. It happened at the end of the season. I don't know why. It is difficult to speak for him."
