Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to return to France at the end of this season.

The Sun says the departing Arsenal manager, 68, is likely to open talks with Paris Saint-Germain and former club Monaco.

His close relationship with PSG's Qatari owners could see him land a role as director of football.

Unai Emery is out of contract at the end of the season and is unlikely to be handed a new deal by the Ligue 1 champions after failing to conquer Europe.

Wenger was Monaco boss between 1987 and 1994 before moving to Japan with Nagoya Grampus Eight and eventually Arsenal.

He has been heavily linked with the PSG job in recent years.
