Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to send an SOS to sacked skipper William Gallas. The Daily Mail says Wenger is considering recalling William Gallas for Arsenal's Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night.
Wenger stripped Gallas of the captaincy last Friday after the French defender exposed a series of dressing room bust-ups at the club.
Gallas was then left out of the Arsenal squad for Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Manchester City, prompting speculation that he would never play for the Gunners again.
But asked whether any of the players absent for the defeat in Manchester would return in the Group G clash at home to Kiev, Wenger said: "Fabregas will be available, and maybe Gallas."
Gallas trained with the squad on Sunday and has told Wenger that, although he accepts his outburst last week was damaging to the club, he thought the most serious allegations about dressing room unrest had been made "off the record".
