Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would like to see players sent off for swearing.

Wenger has called on the authorities to introduce compulsory red cards for players caught swearing.

"Should we send everyone off for swearing? Yes," said Wenger.

"You want consistency in the punishment.

"The players adapt, they are intelligent people. They always test the border, to see how far they can go. They look at others and see how the referee responds and they adapt."
