Arsenal boss Wenger sees Man City's Richards as Sagna replacement

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing Manchester City defender Micah Richards. The Daily Star Sunday says if defender Bacary Sagna decides to quit north London, boss Wenger will contact Manchester City about wantaway Richards.

The England ace, 25, has been offered a new deal at the Etihad but made just seven appearances last term following a knee injury.

Richards who can also play at centre-half, grew up supporting the Gunners from his home in Leeds with legend Ian Wright as his all-time hero.
