Arsenal boss Wenger says Wilshere could play this season

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits Jack Wilshere could see action this season.

Wenger is hopeful of a return for Wilshere before the end of the season.

He said of the injured England midfielder: “Jack had a scan [on Thursday] and I haven’t had got the result yet, I will get it later.

“I hope that we will get good news from him because that is very important for Arsenal. This is the stage where the scan will be vital to decide when he will come back.”
