Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes Real Madrid are paying way over the odds for Tottenham star Gareth Bale.
Arsenal are after Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria but Wenger would not pay more than £50m for any of them.
He said Madrid were "very generous" in their offer for Bale and added: "I don't think at all that the prices are linked with the quality of the players, this summer especially. The prices today are just linked with the financial power and the desire of the buyer.
"There are very, very, very few players who are economically justifying or make sense to pay over £50m."
