Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes West Bromwich Albion rival Roy Hodgson was unlucky in his time at Liverpool.
Wenger believes his opposite number this weekend could have been dealt a better hand.
"Yes [he was unlucky]," the Frenchman told arsenal.com.
"When you have a change of ownership [as Liverpool did], it can happen sometimes that as a manager you are not the desired person.
"You have not been employed by the people who have been the owners."
