Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will not consider Thomas Vermaelen for Sunday's visit of Manchester United.
Vermaelen will not line up against the same opponents in the Premier League this weekend and neither will Abou Diaby after he failed to shake off a calf strain.
"Vermaelen will play tonight (last night) for the Reserves but he will not play against Man United," confirmed Arsène Wenger at his pre-match press conference.
"Diaby is still out and everybody else is basically available."
