Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger risks losing Wojciech Szczesny if he pursues a senior goalkeeper signing next month. The Sunday Mirror says Liverpool's Pepe Reina, Wigan's Ali Al-Habsi and Stoke's Asmir Begovic are among the keepers Arsenal have discussed.
But all three of those players would expect regular first-team football, and that could be a problem for Szczesny.
They would also want to be paid more than the £40,000-a-week Szczesny earns.
Szczesny has no fear of healthy competition, but the 22-year-old Pole has no interest in sharing the goalkeeping duties, like David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard have done at Manchester United.
