Premiership clubs are monitoring Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo's situation ahead of the January market.

Melo has struggled to make an impact since his summer arrival from Fiorentina and been targeted by home fans.

Turin sources say Liverpool and Manchester City have maintained their interest after missing out on the Brazil international in during the close-season.

However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also keen, having been a big fan of Melo since his days in Spain with Almeria.
