Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is refusing to give up on securing Bacary Sagna to a new contract.

Sagna is waiting to discuss new terms with the Gunners, though could be on the move in January with Inter Milan keen.

Udine sources say Wenger has Udinese fullback Dusan Basta lined up as a replacement, but his priority is for Sagna, 29, to stay.
