Arsenal boss Wenger ready to land Palace's Moses for knockdown price

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to try again for Crystal Palace superkid Victor Moses.

The Daily Star says Arsene Wenger has tracked the Eagles forward, 19, for two years and came close to snaring him in August 2008.

But the Gunners baulked at the south Londoners’ £5m asking price and were only prepared to fork out £1m plus add-ons for a player they saw as unproven.

However, Wenger has kept a close eye on Moses’ progress at Selhurst Park and will make a renewed attempt to lure him across London in January.

Eagles chairman Simon Jordan is so desperate to boost the club’s ailing coffers that he has lowered Moses asking price by a whopping £4m.

If Arsene Wenger is personally keeping taps on
this youngster Moses, then he must be worth
enough and has the potential, especially now
that Palace have reduced substantially the asking
price which is within the valuation of Arsene
Wenger.
