Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says the Premier League needs to shake itself from it's European failures.

There is uncertainty about whether England will continue to get four places in the Champions League with UEFA next due to review the competition's make-up in 2015, with heavily funded leagues such as France and Russia pushing for more.

Wenger said: "Has English football fallen away from Europe? Looking at last season and this season, yes.

"We have to not be in denial and say we are the best in the world."
