Arsenal continue to track Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.
Despite the arrivals of French pair Laurent Koscielny and Sebastien Squillaci in the summer, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger feels his squad is still a centre-half short.
American-raised Serbia defender Subotic has been a long-term target for Wenger, where his qualities have been talked up by assistant coach Boro Primorac.
Subotic, 21, is contracted at BVB until 2014.
