Arsenal boss Wenger: Politics not for me

After entertaining French president Nicolas Sarkozy and British prime minister Gordon Brown at Emirates stadium last week, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he has no plans of entering politics.

"I don't know about that," Wenger told arsenal.com. "I have enough problems to run a team!

"I have never been in politics but I find it interesting that the two countries get together, sit together and try to cooperate. In France, the history of England and France was always a little bit of mistrust and suspicion and, if you go further back, it was always violence. So the fact that the two countries try to get together is a good sign.

"I like politics because that is what makes our life. It has a big impact on how we live. I don't feel in the modern world that there is a big difference between socialist or right-wing anymore. There is only one way to lead the world and that is to be as social as you can by surviving economically."
