Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is happy to have promoted coaches Steve Bould and Neil Banfield.
The departure of Pat Rice at the end of last season prompted a reshuffle in the Club's coaching staff with Bould promoted to assistant manager and Banfield joining the first-team coaching staff.
"[They have settled down] very well because they are not new," he told Arsenal Player. "We like consistency at this club and they are already used to the way we work.
"They are very, very good coaches and we were in touch every day before [their roles changed], so it's a continuity in the quality of our work. Steve and Neil are more [assigned to] defence and midfield, when we do specific work.
"It's a good moment as well to thank Pat Rice again and wish him well because we are very thankful for what he has done for this club. At the same time we'd like to welcome Steve and Neil. The first signs are very positive."
