Arsenal boss Wenger plans to splash out on Real Madrid striker Benzema
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is planning a bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
Marca says Wenger sees Benzema as the ideal foil for Robin van Persie after having the Frenchman scouted since the New Year.
Benzema moved to the Spanish capital from Olympique Lyonnais in the summer of 2009, but has struggled to make an impact at the Santiago Bernabeu, despite enjoying a decent goalscoring run of late.
Wenger, armed with the cash from new Gunners majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, is ready to offer £20 million to land Benzema this summer.

This news is good but am 100% sure dat wenger cant buy benzema.HE(Wenger) is a marketer,he wl only market Benzema for other good club to buy.

I just hope Arsene Wenger will make this happen if the news is true cos there is an urgent need for reshuffling of the team. I think Arsenal need RUTHLESS strikers like Benzema and Tevez up front and also, an experienced defender instead of Djourou making hell of costly mistakes.
