Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will ask Bayern Munich this week about a price for Xherdan Shaqiri.

Wenger is keen to explore the availability of the Switzerland winger, who is only a bit-part player at Bayern this season.

In the coming days, Swiss sources say Wenger will sound out Bayern directors over a price for Shaqiri and whether they'd be prepared to do business in January.
