Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Mesut Ozil is ready to produce his best football of his Emirates career.

The German World Cup winner played a star role in Arsenal's emphatic 6-0 demolition of Lyon in the Emirates Cup.

"He has won over our fans, feeling the reactions in the crowd I feel he has their support," Wenger said.

Wenger also believes that the key to Ozil showing his full potential at the Emirates could come down to him staying injury free and securing a sustained run of games under his belt.

He added: “Hopefully will deliver a whole season, he showed his quality in the second half of last season".
