Arsene Wenger believes Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino will go a long way in his management career.

The pair will face off in the north London derby at the Emirates on Saturday.

Since Pochettino took over as Spurs boss in 2014, the two clubs hold an even record of 2 wins each and 5 draws.

Ahead of the derby, Wenger has praised his counterpart for the work he was done.

"I think he's done an exceptional job and he's a good manager," said the Arsenal manager. "After that, in our job it's the distances and the quality that make the difference.

"He has all the ingredients to go a long way but overall it's very difficult to know and to predict what will happen in his career."
