Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was tightlipped last night over their bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Frenchman watched on in delight as the Gunners came from a goal down to overcome Chelsea and seal a place in the Carabao Cup final with Manchester City next month.
Away from the Emirates, Arsenal chiefs were in Germany attempting to thrash out a deal with Borussia Dortmund for the hotshot.
Wenger said on the potential deal: “The best is I don't talk about that.
“If something happens, it happens.
“If not I'm perfectly happy with the squad I have."
He added: "It was a blow to go out of the FA Cup so early so I refocused on the League Cup and now we are back at Wembley again.
“Now we face a very strong Manchester City team at Wembley but once you are in a final you want to win it.
“It is very difficult to win trophies in England and when you the opportunity to do that, you have to take it."
