Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says next year will be make or break for England in the World Cup.

According to Wenger, next summer's tournament will be the final chance for this crop of English talent to get their hands on the biggest prize in football.

"For England it's the generation of now or never because add four years to the Ferdinands, Lampards, Beckhams... these are the players who form the basis of the team," Wenger told arsenal.com.

"Of course not Rooney, who will still be highly competitive in four years, but the others will be 33 or 34 in four years time and it's difficult to win a World Cup at that age."
